Junaidi: Look into claims in the Pandora Papers

Malaysia will direct agencies to investigate charges made in the leaked Pandora files that some powerful people are sheltering money in tax havens.

Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, the de facto law minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, said on Monday that this is one of the measures the government will do to maintain the administration’s credibility and integrity following the exposure.

Following the publication of the Pandora papers, opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim questioned Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob on his government’s credibility.
