New: Justin Hoh finishes second at Northern Marianas Open

KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 — National men’s singles shuttler Justin Hoh finished as runner-up at the Northern Marianas Open, losing 12-21, 20-22 to Taiwan’s Cheng Kai in a 37-minute final. Seeded fifth, the world number 115 reached the final by defeating Taiwan’s Cheng Han Tsai in the semi-finals.

This was the 20-year-old’s second final of the year, after winning the Slovenia Open in May, following an eight-month recovery from an Achilles tendon rupture and a right knee injury.
