An ex-goalkeeper for Kelantan FA in his early 30s surrendered to Thai police at the Sungai Golok station on 3 November 2025, bringing with him two pistols believed used in a fatal shooting.

Fatal Shooting

The incident occurred in Kampung Bering, Sungai Golok, where a Malaysian man was shot 18 times and later died.  The suspect holds dual Thai and Malaysian citizenship and is now in Thai custody pending investigation for murder and illegal weapon use.

The pregnant wife of the victim went through a terrifying ordeal when her husband, Mohd Fuad Fahmie Ghazali, 33, was shot 18 times and collapsed in her arms during a brutal attack at their home in Sungai Golok, Thailand, on Saturday evening. The two men are believed to be his wife’s cousins. The two suspects came from behind and shot my husband using two pistols each.
