PETALING JAYA, Aug 112— Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim faces a pivotal choice for GE16: stick with his multi-coalition unity strategy or take Pakatan Harapan (PH) solo, says Khairy Jamaluddin. Speaking on the Lebih Masa podcast, Khairy warned that while going solo could secure a mandate in Peninsular Malaysia, it risks power in Sabah and Sarawak. He cautioned against three-cornered fights with BN and PN, noting grassroots distrust between PKR and Umno hampers vote transfers. Khairy urged stronger local ties, warning BN voters might back PN in some seats, while PH voters remain more likely to support BN than PAS-led PN.
