KUALA LUMPUR – Former health minister Khairy Jamaluddin has delivered a scathing critique of Malaysia’s political scene, branding both sides of the divide as “amateur hour” amid mounting global and domestic challenges. He cited the ongoing energy crisis in West Asia and allegations by businessman Victor Chin, who claimed to have paid RM9.5 million to a PKR MP in the “corporate mafia” scandal. Khairy argued that the opposition has failed to provide effective check-and-balance, describing them as “too stupid and incompetent.” He also appeared to mock Perikatan Nasional chairperson Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, saying his credentials have not translated into substance.
Response to Khairy
A PAS MP, Syahir Suleiman responded quickly to Khairy’s jabs. He said the opposition is a better fit today and is consistent. He also jabs at KJ, saying the latter lacks consistency as only Keluar Sekejap…no pun intended. 😃
We will be back with this response!
