A 32-year-old motorcyclist tragically died in a lorry accident near The Sphere, Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur, on Friday. Traffic police reported that the transporter lorry, reversing uncontrollably from a construction site, caused the fatal collision. The victim’s Modenas Kriss motorcycle lost control, and he was dragged under the lorry’s rear tyre, succumbing to his injuries. The lorry also struck a passing Honda Jazz, injuring its driver. Police detained the 32-year-old lorry driver and are investigating under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. The incident highlights growing concerns over lorry-related accidents in Malaysia.
