KTMB’s ETS Train Delayed for Two Hours After Passenger Pulls Emergency Brake

A Kuala Lumpur to Ipoh intercity train journey was delayed by two hours after a passenger deliberately pulled the emergency brake. The incident was recorded by ETS’s CCTV and shared on social media by KTMB.

The train, ETS ES9052, arrived at 2am instead of 12.16am. The operator has urged passengers to avoid actions that disrupt train services. Those found guilty under the Land Public Transport Act 2010 face up to RM1,000 fine, three months in jail, or both.
