Labubus are famously known as furry toys that are also bag charms for those who want to add a touch to their luxury designer handbags. However, the trend has gotten so far to the point that even Malaysian netizens are unhappy with it. These plushies would cost you around RM100, that is if you can get your hands on it. 

Netizens Calling Labubus “Labutoh” 

Unfortunately, the wordplay on the furry toys are a mixture of the toy’s name along with a very vulgar Malay word. There are those who feel that it’s the consumer’s choice on what they spend their money on, even if it’s an expensive plush toy. 

Others state that these items are actually valuable collectibles. Some may even go up in price significantly on the secondary market.
