KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 10 — Lawyer Latheefa Koya criticised a probe against Feng Jin Zhen in the upside down flag saga as unfair and politically tainted, calling it a waste of police resources. Police said the owner, arrested for displaying the flag upside down, is under investigation with charges to be decided by prosecutors. Feng Jin Zhen, said the incident was accidental while measuring a pole, and the flag was corrected immediately after he noticed. Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh has postponed plans to “educate” the Penang hardware store owner on flying the Jalur Gemilang.
