“I Feel Gay Today, Can I Leave Work Early?” Netizens Responds to Minister’s Suggestion

1 min read

Recently, a Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) made a rather peculiar statement. He states that the rise in homosexual behaviour is apparently in lieu of work-related stress. Netizens are responding in the same peculiar manner but with sarcasm involved.

“Can I Leave Work Early Because I Feel Gay Today”

Social media users state that this could be a reason that people can request for extra leaves or to leave work early. Oddly, a similar thing happened in Sweden back in the 1970s where homosexuality was listed as an illness, and many took the day off.

Others add that stress is added by having people making such remarks out of nowhere. Regardless, many doubt that being stressed would lead one to having a specific style of relations.
