UMNO Communications Director Lokman Noor Adam has lashed out at UMNO Youth Chief Akmal Saleh, accusing him of defying the party’s Supreme Council and undermining the Unity Government. Lokman said Akmal often issues statements ahead of the party and president, showing “no respect” for party decisions. “This boy is misbehaving… his only job is to destroy this government so PN can take over power,” he said in a resurfaced TikTok video from December 2024. Lokman added that Akmal’s behaviour mirrors the opposition, urging Pakatan Harapan leaders to distinguish between genuine allies and “PN lackeys.”
