Singapore, arguably one of the richer countries in Southeast Asia and is probably the only “first world” nation in this region has become another conversation topic. Apparently, a Louis Vuitton shopping bag is seen being used as a trash bag. This is not a common sight, even in Europe.

Apparently, the person who had this paper bag threw it out, and a cleaner grabbed it and placed raked leaves into it. A Threads user noticed this and states that it is sustainable yet luxury at the same time. Additionally, some of these paper bags could be sold for a good amount on social media.

Some state that people are willing to pay RM300 for such paper bags. Many can’t comprehend the hype around these carriers as they are given for free if you purchase an item from the brand.
