KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has completed its investigation into viral video clips allegedly exposing a corruption scandal involving several Sabah state assemblymen and mining license issues. Sources reveal the investigation papers were submitted to prosecutors two weeks ago, with potential charges looming for certain individuals. MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki confirmed this to Bernama, hinting at further prosecutions. The videos, recently circulating online, purportedly capture conversations about bribes tied to mineral licensing in Sabah. MACC previously launched a thorough probe, including digital forensic analysis of the evidence, to uncover the truth.
