New: Malays must uplift themselves through faith, not racial insults, says Anwar

KUALA LUMPUR, April 30 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim called on Malays to strengthen their community through faith, moral discipline, and good character, rather than insulting others. Speaking today, he criticized the culture of corruption and power abuse that has hindered progress, emphasizing that true success lies in accountability, not demeaning other ethnic groups. “We elevate ourselves by refining our character and ensuring leaders don’t steal from the people,” Anwar said.
