Malaysia Among First Nations Approved to Run Haj Health Facilities in Madinah

The Tabung Haji (TH) Treatment Centre in Madinah has received full operating approval (Tasrih) from the Saudi Ministry of Health for the 1445H/2025M haj season, making Malaysia one of the first three countries approved for the Madinah sector.

This achievement is credited to a new strategic partnership with Saudi German Hospital. Head of the Malaysian Haj Delegation, Mohd Hisham Harun, stated that 141 Malaysian pilgrims have received medical treatment so far. Two deaths have also been reported in Makkah due to heart attacks. The TH health facilities, which passed stringent inspections, are now fully operational in both Madinah and Makkah.
