Netizens angry at Malaysia importing EU plastic waste
Some argue that we have become the dumping ground for first-world European countries. Ironically, while these countries are imposing their policies on us, this issue has been under discussion since 2018.
Many find it wildly ironic that while we are compelled to purchase RM5 recycled bags if we forget our own grocery bags, other countries are simultaneously flooding Malaysia with their plastic waste.
