Malaysia announces weekly fuel price update; diesel up 3 sen

1 min read

The Malaysian government announced the weekly fuel prices for Feb 12–18, 2026, with diesel rising by 3 sen to RM2.99 per litre, while retail prices for RON95 and RON97 remained unchanged for the week, according to the latest update from oil pricing authorities.

Diesel prices rise slightly in Malaysia while petrol rates hold steady for Feb 12–18

Factors affecting fuel price decisions include global crude oil trends, exchange rates and domestic demand, government officials said, noting that adjustments aim to balance affordability and fiscal stability.

Motorists are advised to plan travel budgets accordingly, as even minor fuel price changes can impact transportation costs and logistics sectors nationwide.
