Malaysians Against Gender Pay Gap Citing Women MUST be Paid EQUALLY

A viral tweet by an X user states that he pays his male workers more as they apparently have more responsibilities than their female counterparts. However, it seems that social media users are vehemently against this approach as they feel that women too have responsibilities when it comes to their family and household.

An X user adds that by enforcing a gender pay gap, this is a subtle way of wanting single and independent women to be financially poor. Some men believe that once a woman marries, she no longer has obligations toward her parents—a notion that is both unrealistic and unreasonable. Marriage does not erase familial responsibilities, and expecting a woman to sever ties with her parents is misguided.

Others add that there are a plethora of men who are getting big salaries and are not responsible for it. Some of their family members who are doing well are not helping their single mother much, claims an X user.
