The design of Malaysia’s attire for the Paris Olympic was met with a lacklustre response. Furthermore, the clothes were slapped on a bunch of mannequins which users felt were not as creative as they could have been. The new outfits are seemingly receiving a lukewarm response.

Others accuse the contract tender of subcontracting this to another company, hence why the design looks the way it does. Malaysians add that there are plenty of talented designers who were not given the opportunity to show off their skills.
Some users claim that it would be better to “throw away” all the design courses in public institutions if this is the best they can come up with. Regardless, users defend the designers of this attire as they feel the ones who wanted it this way are the “boomers.”
