Police have arrested a 24-year-old man accused of assaulting a motorist during a road rage incident while driving down from Genting Highlands on Sunday. Bentong police chief Zaiham Kahar said the suspect drove dangerously, braking abruptly and blocking the victim’s path before chasing and ramming the victim’s vehicle. After both drivers stopped, the suspect allegedly punched the victim in the face and injured his neck. The victim’s two friends intervened to stop the altercation. The suspect was arrested, remanded for four days, and later released on bail. The case is being investigated for causing hurt, criminal intimidation, and dangerous driving.
