Man, 47, Found Dead After Falling into Well Near Home in JB

In Johor Bahru, a 47-year-old man was found dead after falling into a well near his home in Lorong 7, Kampung Nesa, Skudai, last night. The Skudai Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 9:41 p.m. from the victim’s brother, who reported that the man had called their mother to apologize before falling into the 15-meter-deep well.

Firefighters, including members from the Water Rescue Team, conducted a search and recovery operation. The man was retrieved around 10:30 p.m. and was confirmed dead at the scene by Health Ministry personnel. The body was then handed over to the police for further investigation.
