Many are thinking that this man is peculiar as he is requesting employees working in a restaurant to call him “baby.” When his requirement was not fulfilled, he started to throw a huge tantrum in front of everyone. It led him to start throwing drinks and food all over the restaurant.
Man angry at restaurant workers for calling him “pakcik” instead
Netizens are joining in the fun. A Twitter user states that she is taking notes from this man, and would do the same if a restaurant worker called her a “makcik.” Furthermore, it seems that many are disagreeing with the customer. Getting called “pakcik” is not the end of the world said another user.
Another user who has experience in the hotel industry stated that he mistakenly called a guest “bro.” However, the guest got angry and told him that he should address him as “Encik” or “Tuan.” This is an error that is not supposed to be done, especially in a hotel. Regardless, a well mannered guest would simply correct the staff’s language.
