MELAKA – A 1-minute-59-second video that went viral on social media has sparked controversy after it allegedly shows a man, believed to be the secretary of a mosque in Bukit Baru, engrossed in watching pornographic content inside what appears to be the mosque’s office. The footage, recorded by an unidentified individual who later knocked on the window and door, includes a voiceover stating, “This is a mosque,” and claiming two witnesses were present for a morning marriage ceremony.

The person insists the recording is authentic and not AI-edited. State Committee Chairman for Education, Higher Education and Religious Affairs, Datuk Rahmad Mariman, confirmed the matter will be raised at next week’s Jawatankuasa Tadbir Urus Masjid (JKTU) meeting for further discussion and action.
