On May 1st, it was reported that a husband killed his wife in a spit of rage. The story goes that the late wife, who was 28 years old, had posted her suspicions of her husband cheating on social media.
The unfortunate incident happened a day before Hari Raya, which would of course be a sad day for the woman’s family. There was a religious preacher that allegedly mentioned that we shouldn’t talk about it as this is considered as ‘membuka aib’ (airing out someone’s dirty laundry).
Netizens online shared a lot of sympathy for the lady, and mentioned that she did not ‘membuka aib’, as it was her right as a wife to know the truth. For the husband however, netizens did not have anything nice to say about him.
