The remarks intensified calls from Democrats and conservative figures like Candace Owens and Alex Jones, who accused Trump of dangerous rhetoric and potential war crimes.
Critics argue his Cabinet should act under the 25th Amendment, though Vice President JD Vance and senior officials remain supportive. The amendment, ratified in 1967, allows the vice president and Cabinet to declare a president unfit to discharge duties.
