Police in Japan have arrested a married man, Yuki Tsuchiya, on suspicion of dismembering the body of his alleged mistress, Ayumi Ito, in his home in Shizuoka prefecture. Body parts belonging to the 33-year-old single mother were found on the balcony of Tsuchiya’s home and in his car. He reportedly confessed to having killed Ito, hitting her on the head with a blunt object in her car before strangling her with a cord. Tsuchiya had allegedly been in a relationship with Ito since 2022 when they were both on a committee contributing to the development of Shizuoka prefecture.
