“Mat Salleh” Now SCAMMED RM100 for FAKE Gucci Wallet – Netizens

1 min read

A viral video on TikTok shows a White Australian man, which most Malaysians would call a “mat salleh,” buying a fake Gucci wallet on Petaling Street. However, netizens feel that he got scammed as you can buy RM100 wallets from more reputable brands rather than a fake one.

“Mat Salleh” got scammed for spending RM100 on a fake wallet?

Furthermore, X users claim that if they were to buy that wallet in bulk, it would probably cost them only RM25. However, the seller claims that the materials used for this fake wallet is of high quality, some even cost over RM280.

In addition to this, X users state that they once bargained with a stall seller for a bag that cost around RM500. They eventually reduced the price to RM50, but it is unclear how true the story actually is.
