Maxis, one of Malaysia’s largest telco is currently being scrutinised for having poor reception. Netizens are not happy with this as most Maxis customers have experienced harsh treatment from the company. A prime example is, if you’d pay their bills a day late, your line is immediately cut off.
A day after the Digi and Celcom merger was approved by MCMC, is the day when Maxis’ line went down. Furthermore, most of Maxis’ plans are generally priced higher. Hence most people would expect better service from them.
They claim to have technical errors for the time being, and recommend that we turn on and off our phones more regularly. Most affected by this are people who are working remotely as today, internet connections are vital.
