MCMC Recognizing Words Like ‘Siot’ & ‘Hanat’

A netizen pointed out that the Malaysian Communications & Multimedia Commission has recently released a photo on words that are banned in broadcasting. However, it is seen as strange and odd for a government agency to recognize these words

It is understandable why they’re banned as those are highly inappropriate words, commonly used on social media. Netizens posted a screenshot of a Twitter account that looks to belong to MCMC writing profanities all over it. It is unclear if it is the actual account for MCMC. 

Others were making jokes along the lines of ‘your mother is green’ (mak kau hijau) , a meme that went viral nearly 10 years ago. Another question on why is ‘nasi lemak 50 Sen’ banned from broadcasting, we can’t mention prices for nasi lemak?
