World Champion Lionel Messi, one of the best footballers of all time, has opted for the Manchester United-owned Inter Miami CF. The club is also partially owned by England legend and Utd hero David Beckham.
NO SAUDI CLUB
Lionel will now play in the Major League Soccer in the USA, rejecting offers from Saudi Arabia where he would have joined Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo plays in the Saudi super league at Al Nassr. Messi was offered contract from another Saudi club, Al Hilal.
MESSI Not at Barca
While announcing his choice to play in the USA, Messi also told Spanish media Mundo Deportivo that he would have preferred to return to Barcelona. But Barcelona had no money to take him back.
