The latest search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 has renewed hopes of solving the decade-long mystery. Aviation expert Datuk Captain Nik Ahmad Huzlan Nik Hussain praised Ocean Infinity, the company leading the search, for its expertise.
Renewed MH370 Search Offers Fresh Hope
The search area has been reduced to 15,000 square kilometers. Ocean Infinity has invested at least US$10 million in the mission. The search is based on new data from oceanographic studies.
The Malaysian government has a “no find, no fee” agreement, only paying US$70 million if the aircraft is found. The search focuses on four “hot spots” in the Indian Ocean.
