PUTRAJAYA, March 8 — The search for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 in a newly designated southern Indian Ocean zone has concluded without discoveries. The Ministry of Transport’s Air Accident Investigation Bureau confirmed Ocean Infinity conducted operations under a “no find, no fee” agreement signed in March 2025.
MH370 Search
Two phases of the mission, spanning 28 operational days, surveyed approximately 7,571 sq km of seabed. Despite extensive efforts, adverse weather disrupted progress, and the search ended on January 23, 2026. Authorities stated that no evidence confirming the aircraft’s location has been found, leaving the mystery unresolved after nearly 12 years.
Meanwhile, Voice370, the support group representing the next-of-kin of those on board the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 urged the Malaysian government to extend its “No Find, No Fee” search agreement and to consider other capable deep-sea exploration companies under the same framework.
