A 25‑year‑old student in Cyberjaya, S. Selveston, lost both parents last year—his father to heart complications and his mother to cancer. Despite hardship, he continued pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration while working as a food delivery rider to support himself and his disabled cousin.
Minister Provides RM20,000 Aid
His struggles worsened after a hit‑and‑run accident left him with a knee injury, cutting off his main income. Moved by his resilience, Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Steven Sim stepped in, providing nearly RM20,000 in aid to cover tuition, rent, and living costs. Sim said he wanted Selveston to finish his studies without disruption.
