Barisan Nasional (BN) deputy chairperson Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan has urged all BN component parties, especially UMNO, MCA, and MIC, to avoid public disputes that could harm the coalition’s unity. Commenting on recent tensions following MIC deputy president Datuk Seri M Saravanan’s claim of being sidelined from Cabinet promises, Mohamad stressed that any misunderstandings should be resolved amicably. He warned that internal conflicts only weaken BN’s efforts to regain political strength. Mohamad called for calm and cooperation, advising leaders to focus on rebuilding BN rather than exposing internal weaknesses, likening party unity to a long-standing family bond needing mutual respect.
