A 25-year-old Malaysian woman from a wealthy family was allegedly abused by her mentally ill mother for four years, losing sight in one eye. Philanthropist Uncle Kentang shared her story, revealing she was treated like a maid, denied basic freedoms, and monitored by 36 CCTVs. 

Malaysian Woman Escapes abuse from Family

Her father promised RM30,000 annually for her labour but never paid. In May 2024, she escaped and sought help from an NGO. Though legal action is possible, Uncle Kentang encouraged her to heal and rebuild her life. He supported her with RM1,000 to pursue a driving license, urging others to leave abusive homes and reclaim their worth.
