Party Muda, the party of the youth and headed by ex-Minister of Sports Syed Saddiq in a tweet suggests social media platform Clubhouse could be more functional.
The party was comparing the local Parliament seating to Clubhouse. Clubhouse is a new type of social network based on voice—where people around the world come together to talk, listen and learn from each other in real- time.
“Parlimen dibuka 5 hari sahaja, dan langsung tiada sesi bahas atau debat. Lagi berfungsi Clubhouse macam ni,” says the tweet in Malay.
“Parliament is opening for five days only, and there are not debates. Clubhouse has better functions,” it says in English.

The hashtag says #TakutKe, meaning ‘afraid?” in English.
Twitter users and Muda followers give their support to the statement, adding the MPs will say nothing during five days of Parliament sitting.
