Kuala Lumpur: Bursa Malaysia ended higher with the key index bouncing back stronger by 1.38 per cent a day after PM Muhyiddin resigned. Experts say this is in anticipation of a swift decision on Malaysia’s next government.
The benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) soared 20.69 points to end the day at 1,523.59 from Monday’s close of 1,502.90.
Two main candidates, Ismail Sabri Yakoob from Perikatan Nasional or Barisan Nasional is pitted in a nail-biting fight for the post of PM against Anwar Ibrahim from the PH.
