Recently, a viral tweet shows that in Sweden, individuals are allowed to burn the Quran, but when it comes to the Jewish Torah, it was stopped. Netizens were commenting about how unfair it was. However, a Twitter user stated that it was a Muslim Imam who stopped the indecent event.

Furthermore, according to an article from a Swedish news portal, it appears that a man applied for the rights to burn the Torah. However, Imam Tajeddin Farfour from Malmö heard about this, he went to the man’s house in an attempt to convince him to cancel his plans.
However, some users state that when a country allows individuals to burn religious books, regardless of the religion, it is medieval. Freedom and expression should come at the cost of respecting individuals. There are some who state that the government stopping an individual from doing as such is against the Swedish constitution.
