A portal reporting on Myanmar says the armed forces are raiding, looting and killing citizens in a country that has fallen to lawlessness.
They call the killing arbitrary as regime casualties mount but civilian fighters are stepping up their armed resistance to the junta. The latest victims are a married couple who were shot dead.
They are Ko Maung Aye, 36, a farmer and seller of agricultural chemicals, and his wife Ma Nwe Nwe Aye, 36, a nurse, while the soldiers stole their money after killing them.
Regime soldiers in four vehicles raided a village on the Gangaw-Kale Highway after a military convoy was ambushed nearby with landmines by civilian resistance fighters.
