Ex-Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak stated in 2015 and reported by Astro Awani that Low Taek Jho, also known as Jho Low, had no involvement with 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB). Najib clarified that all decisions and transactions within 1MDB were made solely by its management and board of directors. Responding in writing to a question from Wangsa Maju MP Datuk Dr. Tan Kee Kwong, Najib emphasized, “Mr. Low Taek Jho never worked at 1MDB, and all decisions were made by its management and board.” Last week, Najib issued a public apology to the Malaysian people for the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) debacle but refused to accept responsibility. Now he is ‘admitted’ that PetroSaudi and fugitive financier Jho Low had collaborated to deceive him and syphon funds from 1MDB, citing an article from The Edge.
