Many are still quite unhappy with her modeling career due to the revealing clothes that she is required to wear.

Being the first Malay girl to have ever become a Victoria Secret’s angel, she has received comments about the afterlife from some conservatives. It is rare for us to ever see a Malaysian regardless of their race on becoming the face of a major corporation, let alone one like Victoria Secret.
There are some that defend Nia Atasha, stating that those who state that she is going to “hell” are no saints either. However, some are still standing on their ground stating that wearing revealing clothes is still “haram” for both men and women. It appears that there is a battle going on with the ultra liberal and the ultra conservative Malaysians.
Religious netizens are also debating with each other regarding this topic. Some state that she is still young and has a long way ahead of her. Furthermore, a significant portion of people do agree that it is not entirely our place to judge someone for their sins.
