A viral post on X discusses the difference between a standard petrol car and an EV car. Apparently an anonymous user in a Facebook group claims their electric car takes longer to charge when compared to a petrol car, and it costs more so they say.
Netizens discuss EV car charging allegedly more expensive than petrol cars
Other users say that driving these new electric cars may not be as efficient as petroleum cars on a consumer level for long distance travel. It is unsure if they’ll be government initiatives to reduce the price of electricity for these vehicles, and the possibility of adding faster charging services.
Another user claims his Proton saga is more efficient in this sense as it is a cheaper car, and the time taken for a long distance journey is lesser. Additionally the car may last the owner 10 years or more.
