An X user states that others can call him “miskin” which means poor in Malay, but he won’t spend that much on a game with two kids running around in a “kampung,” which means village in Malay. Others state that Malaysians are willing to pay the same amount for games that were made in western countries.
There are debates among social media users regarding this. Some state that it is expensive to develop such a game, and people should understand the time and research that has gone into making said game. While others state the Southeast Asian market isn’t the best market to charge nearly RM200 for a game.
