These penalties are in accordance with multiple laws, including Section 48(1) of the Land Transport Act, Sections 48(1) and 49(1)(g) of the Drainage and Buildings Act, and Section 3(n) of the 2011 Vandalism Ordinance under the Local Government Ordinance. MBPG issued a notice on social media, addressing complaints from residents about vehicle congestion in front of their homes, which has led to neighborhood disputes and traffic problems.
