Newport 2-4 Manchester United – Hard fought battle for the Reds in FA Cup now

Manchester United secured a hard-fought victory against League Two Newport County in the FA Cup fourth round, winning 4-2. Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring early on, but Newport’s Kobbie Mainoo equalized soon after. Bryn Morris then gave New port hope with a deflected strike. However, United’s Will Evans leveled the score just after halftime.
