Singapore has secured the 20th spot in Taste Atlasâ 100 Best Food Cities in the World for 2025/2026, outperforming Tokyo, Bangkok and Seoul. The rankings, based on over 590,000 ratings of nearly 19,000 dishes, highlight the city-stateâs vibrant food scene.

Top dishes include char kway teow, roti prata, black pepper crab, apam balik and Katong laksa. Iconic eateries like Song Fa Bak Kut Teh and Zai Shun Curry Fish Head were praised. However, Singaporeâs cuisine ranked only 90th out of 100 globally. But Taste Atlas noted Singaporean food is most loved abroad in the United States. Picture from tasteatlas.com
