SHAH ALAM: UMNO Women’s Exco Nurulhidayah Ahmad Zahid demanded DAP deputy chairman Nga Kor Ming provide evidence for alleging MCA aims to destabilize the government. Nurulhidayah defended MCA, a Barisan Nasional ally since 1973, for seeking clarification on issues like KPKT’s MyKiosk project. She criticized Nga’s claims as defensive and immature, warning they erode public trust, promote “politics-king” culture, and stifle healthy political discourse. Nga had suggested MCA’s actions betray a hidden agenda despite being a government component. The Umno leader stressed MCA’s single seat does not diminish its right to question government accountability.
