Kuala Lumpur: Elaine Thompson-Herah defended her Rio title with an Olympic record of 10.61sec, the second-fastest time in history.
She beats Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce who came to win back the 100m Olympic crown she had won in Beijing and London.
With the record, Thompson-Herah beats the record held by Florence Griffith Joyner’s time (10.62) that stood since the Seoul Games in 1988.
