A news portal has just declared Anwar Ibrahim has been chosen as the 10th PM of Malaysia and will be sworn in this evening.
“After days of negotiations, and political uncertainty, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong had decided to appoint the prime minister after meeting with the Conference of Rulers,” says the portal.
The Palace is set to come out with a statement naming who will be the Prime Minister of Malaysia after days of deadlock and several u-turns by political formations on who they will ally with.
The PN has now made its biggest U-turn saying it will support a ‘unity government’ while the BN has said it will not a unity gov’t where the PN is the PM. That does not mean they are 100% sure if they are supporting PH.
PN U-Turn
Meanwhile, the PN U-Turn, the GPS has also made a sudden U-turn and says it will wait for the King to announce who is PM and is willing to be in a ‘unity gov’t.
