Bersatu leader Marzuki Mohamad, a close ally of party president Muhyiddin Yassin, has accused former secretary-general Hamzah Zainudin of waging a “psychological war” from outside to destabilize the party.
Party Unity Restored
Marzuki said Bersatu is now peaceful and rebuilding strength after Hamzah and his supporters left, with ties to PN component parties, including PAS, becoming stronger. He dismissed Hamzah’s claim that Bersatu is seeking rapprochement with PKR, calling it an attempt to sow division.
Marzuki urged members to focus on unity and rakyat issues, stressing that PN under new chairman Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar enjoys full support from Bersatu’s leadership.
